- Download the YEGO app and create your account;
- Book a motorbike in the app. You have 15 minutes for free to get to the motorbike;
- Unlock the motorbike through the app and open the top case: you will find 2 helmets to travel with whoever you prefer;
- When you unlock the motorbike, the engine starts. You have 20 seconds for free to get ready to ride. After this time, you will be charged per minute driven (according to the current rate in your city);
- When you arrive at your destination, park in an area authorised for motorbikes according to the city’s parking regulations;
- Leave your helmets in the top case and finish the ride from the app. You will hear a locking sound to make sure the top case is securely locked.
In Spain, wearing a helmet is compulsory.
In France, wearing a helmet and gloves (both for the rider and the passenger) is compulsory.
In both countries, it is forbidden to ride in flip-flops or without any clothing (e.g. without a T-shirt or shoes).
When you are next to the motorbike, the "Unlock and start" button appears in the app. When you tap on it, the motorbike will turn on and the top case will unlock.
The operating area is the part of the city where you can move around and park in (always following the parking rules). In the app, zoom out to discover the operating area, marked in white. You can also check it by selecting your city on our website: https://www.rideyego.com/.
Once the motorbike has been turned on, you have 20 seconds for free to get ready for riding. Use them to wear the hygienic cap and helmet (plus the gloves if you’re in France!), to adjust the rearview mirrors and to check the brakes.
In Paris, you have:
- 20 seconds for free if you’re between 18 and 54 years old;
- 45 seconds for free if you’re 55 years old or older.
